Dewayne's Honda Civic

I have to Wait until the beginning of the year to get hired full-time (permanent) at work. After work I went and helped Dewayne get him Honda Civic with Brian Gertz's Wife Marry. It was wet but we had a good time getting to know each other better. I wish I could do stuff like that with more people from Church, but I will have to find other ways to get to know people at church. I will probably be over a Dewayne's helping him work on his Honda Civic. I can not wait until Sunday when I start that Leadership training class with Pastor Ron.

BIBLE STUDY

I bought a bible study on the book of Romans that I staerted last night. I am hoping to get a lot out of it and that it will help me to read the bible and understadn it. If you ar anyone you know would like to do the Bible study with me let me know A.S.A.P. and we can set up a time during the week to get together.

Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I just finished stuffing myself full of turkey, mashed potatoes, jello salad and all the other stuff you fill up on at the table during thanksgiving dinner. Now here is the question that is asked every thanksgiving what are you thankful for? Well I am thankful for being alive and having a loving and caring family, Having Friends that I know are there for me to guide me and help me through life's problems, For having a church family that is as warm and caring to everyone that we meet, and for this great country we live in. that we have the freedoms that we have and the people that are fighting wars for our freedoms and to protect us, To everyone that has been there for me Thank you for everything.

Why does our human side tend to look at the out side of a person insted of getting to know a person before judging them?

I was watching Beauty and the geek on television last night, I was thinking of that question. I have found myself judging a person from what my eyes see and know who they are. It is not always easy to look inside a person and not just whet they look like. The media has set society's standards unrealistically high, by who that have in there commercials on TV and there ads in magazines. They have these models that are skinner then the average lady and models that have more muscle then the average man. We wounder why there is a problem with low self esteem and self confidence in the world today

Can a relationship between an active christiian and a non active christtian really work?

This is a question that I have been dealing with for awhile now. I have been friends with this girl for about five months now, and at here birthday (Nov. 3) I went to a party that some friends where having for her. I did somethings that I look back on and realized that I should not have done them. During that party she told that she guess that we are officially going out. Now this is where the question come it to play. She has a great personality, She can make me laugh, she knows what she wants and goes for it. But she is not an active Christian, what do I mean by that. She does not go to church, she is not saved (at lest not that I know of), she has had sex before marriage, and she drinks to get drunk. I have disused this with several people and gotten some helpful feedback. I don't know what to do about this. Please give me your thoughts on this .

God is an awesome God

Last night I was watching some television and I felt the need to share something with everyone. God is an awesome God. he works in amazing ways. About a month or so ago I went over to my friend Rod's house and he was just finishing up working on a ladies car, when I noticed a wet line down his driveway and I asked him about it. Come to find out the ladies sending unit was shot. I knew that her car was her only way to get around so I asked Rob to call around and find out how much a sending unit cost. he was told it would be one price, We went to the store and asked about the part they told us a different price and sent the other part had to be ordered. I had to round up enough money to get the past for the lady. I the way back to Rob's house I ask God to provide me with enough money to get by the rest on the week. He provided me with enough money to get through the week and it can from the most unexpected source. This proves that if you are faithful to give 10% to god he will provide you with the other 90%.

The "brick" sermon

Today's Sermon was good. When Pastor told me on the way home from men's convention that he was going to ask everyone to bring a "brick" to Church this week I thought he was going crazy or something but it was clear that he is going to be keeping us on our toes and that is a good thing. that he will keep thing interesting. Well I hope you have a safe and don't eat to much.

Mens Convention 2006

I just got back from men's convention with Pastor Ron and Mike. I had a great time and learned a lot of new stuff that I can use now and later in life. I got to know Mike better and I hope to get to know him better, I got to know Pastor better. I am looking forwards to next year.
